MEET DR AMY MCCROY
About Me
Dr. Amy McCroy is a cultural and language enthusiast who has a PhD in communication, cultural, and media studies.
She currently works full time (online) in the Communication, Cultural and Media Studies Department at Ulster University in Northern Ireland, UK. Before moving overseas to begin her PhD research, Dr. McCroy was a Museum Curator who designed visually stunning historical exhibitions.
Over the last several years, Dr. McCroy has travelled extensively throughout the world, which has helped her discover many new (sometimes fascinating) sources for researching names. Now based primarily in Canada, her home country, she draws on her diverse experiences and research background to help uncover beautiful English names for you.
